Mahindapura / Dehiwatta Village massacre

On 30th May 1990, a group of LTTE terrorists raided Mahindapura and Dehiwatta villages in Trincomalee and slaughtered 5 civilians


Aralaganvila Village massacre

On 24th July 1990, a group consisting over 50 LTTE cadres armed with firearms, swords and machetes attacked Aralaganwila village in Ampara. The terrorists brutally massacred 8 civilians including women and children by torturing and chopping them with sharp weapons.

The terrorists carried out seven village massacres in this week alone

Meeyankulama Village massacres

On 25th July 1990, one day after they attacked Aralaganvila village, LTTE terrorists stormed Meeyankulama ancient Sinhalese village in Polonnaruwa.

The terrorists armed with sharp weapons and fire arms tortured 8 civilians including woman and children to death.

Wanela Village massacre

On 25th July 1990, on the very same day that LTTE terrorists attacked Meeyankulama village, they stormed Wannela ancient Sinhalese village in Trincomalee.

The terrorists armed with firearms and sharp weapons brutally massacres 9 civilians including women and children after subjecting them to inhumane torture.

The terrorists could not attain intended kill in village massacres in 1990, as majority of the Sinhalese and Muslim civilians already abandoned their homes and the remaining used to stay hiding in the jungles in the night.

No international humanitarian organization or countries now trying to preach human rights to Sri Lanka made any noise about the sufferings of these innocent civilians

Thammannawa Village massacre

On 26th July 1990, the very next day of the Waanela massacre, the terrorist managed to bring about the brutality they were longing for when they attacked an ancient Sinhalese village of Tammannawa in Anuradhapura.

A group consisting of over 50 LTTE terrorists wielding clubs, swords, machetes and firearms ran amok in the village, ripping off wombs of pregnant mothers, smashing heads of children with clubs, and torturing men and women, cutting out their body parts one by one until they a die a painful death.

Police found 19 inhumanely mutilated bodies. Three others survived serious cut wounds.

Akkaraipattu Village massacre

On 30th July 1990, LTTE terrorists continuing their cowardly bloodbath attacked Akkaraipattu Muslim village in Ampara and slaughtered 14 civilians.

The victims were farmers retuning home from their paddyfields. The terrorists had abducted them, their hands tied behind their backs with their own cloths and lined up and shot dead at an isolated place. Most of the victims were chopped before they were shot.

The terrorists had distributed quit notes among the Muslims living in Ampara and Battiacloa district ordering them to leave the villages that they had been living for generations. The terrorists informed the Muslims to leave the area before 10th August or to face the most painful deaths at their hands.

The first week of August 1990 saw a series of brutal attack committed against Muslim world that might only be placed second in brutality to those committed in Iraq, Afghanistan and in Palestine by the same countries preach human rights to the world

Kovilladi Village massacre

On 30th July 1990, on the same day they attacked the Muslim village in Ampara, the terrorists attacked Kovilladi Tamil village in Trincomalee in order to settle a personal grudge a regional LTTE leader had with the villagers.

The terrorist with axes and swords killed 9 Tamils and one Muslim in the village after subjecting them to inhumane torture

Podankady Village massacre

On 31st July 1990, a group of LTTE terrorists armed with firearms stormed Podankady Sinhalese village in Trincomalee and gunned down 11 civilians including women and children

Ampara Village massacre

On 6th August 1990, on the following day of the Mulliyankadu massacre terrorists rounded the Muslim framing families working in their paddy fields in Ampara and attacked them with firearms and sharp weapons

Police found 34 inhumanely mutilated bodies of civilians including of woman and children

Navagamuwa Village massacre

On 8th August 1990, a group of armed LTTE terrorists attacked ancient Sinhalese village of Navagamuwa in Vavuniya. They tortured 7 civilians to death while 4 others survived serious injuries caused by swords and axes.



In all these Villages civillians got killed by LTTE more than 100..
